We are all living in a hectic world now adays ; it feels like the time is ticking away quicker and quicker. Works and family duties are overwhelming us at times. Hence, it is not surprising that anxiety and stresses crawl in our lives. Nobody could eliminate stress fully ; what we could do however, is learn to control and manage stress before it takes control of our lives.
Stress and uneasiness are the major cause of panic episodes. If not dealt with, it can have a devastating effect on our life. Especially for folk with A-type personalities, the perfectionism they seek in everything they do never quite measures up to their expectations. Please understand that nobody is perfect ; humans are all imperfect living in an imperfect world. Don’t stress it out and make yourself mad, just take it all in your stride.
There are numerous different ways to handle stress ; just some simple exercises can help stop the attack of stress. For instance, just focus on respiring properly can take away the anxiety from your intelligence and bring you back to a calm state. Anytime when you feel stress, put your left hand on your stomach and start to breathe deeply and slowly ; you must feel that your belly expands when you breathe in air ; that’s’s the proper way to breathe.
Going outside for some fresh air can also help. Walking or running for 20 minutes can release endorphins which assist in alleviating stress. Listening to classical music also helps as it lowers the blood pressure, and brings calm within.
Sometimes, however, stress unearths itself in alternative ways. Fear, feelings of pressure, inability to focus and tremors ; all these are evidence of stress that can lead to nervousness, panic attacks, and the fright or flight syndrome.
For example, you are scared when speaking in front of a grouping of folk ; anxious when a plane’s taking off ; twitchy during your marriage day, and so on. There is truly no comprehensive treatment for anxiety and fear. To triumph over it, you will have to face your fear ; admit that you are scared, try to understand it, and do the honest thing anyhow. Develop faith that you’re going to ultimately conquer your fear and anxiety.
If stress is getting you down, inspect the cause. Determine the origin, talk to a buddy or debate it with a professional or a family member. Stress, if not acted upon, could cause major health issues. Learn how to live and cope with it at any cost, if you can.
Remember that there’s no such thing as ’stress-free’ life as stress is always around us ; unless of course if we are dead. As long as we are still breathing, we are subject to stress and anxiety. What we are able to do however, is to develop a’stress-proof’ life. There are several successful self-help techniques you can learn how to stop foreboding and panic attacks on its track. .
